Our mission at City Center Chiropractic is to provide the highest level of patient care, educate our patients and prevent re-injury. We will provide the highest level of service to our patients with an honest and ethical approach to their health care. City Center Chiropractic is a full service clinic that offers a variety of chiropractic and physical medicine services to meet the needs of our diverse patient population. Following a consultation and examination the doctors will establish a treatment plan that will incorporate some, many or all of our services offered.

Dr. Shatike Ward, DC

Dr. Shatike Ward is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia where he received a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) Degree. He is firmly committed to providing professional, ethical and quality care to all of his patients. Dr. Ward is a board certified Chiropractor in the state of NY and began his practice in Manhattan after completing his internship in Atlanta, GA. He is a Brooklyn, New York native and elected to do his undergraduate studies at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Ward is well trained in different full spine manipulative techniques such as Diversified, Activator, Thompson, Pediatric Adjusting, Toggle, Sacral Occipital Technique, and Extremity Adjusting. He has had specialized clinical training in sports injuries (sprains, strains, dislocations, etc.) that has led to a Master’s Degree in Sports Injury Management. He has also either interned or volunteered in various clinical settings such as the Veterans Administration Medical Center Spinal Cord Injury Unit, Home Depot Fitness Center, Morris Brown College Sports Medicine Center, and other therapy and fitness clinics. Dr. Ward is actively involved in helping his community become more aware of the signs and symptoms of stress. He firmly believes in a holistic approach to helping people achieve their highest level of health and well-being.

Dr. Robin Slocumb, DC

Dr. Slocumb graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University. She continued with postgraduate education on Applied Kinesiology and Acupuncture at New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Slocumb attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology. She currently resides in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Slocumb has received additional training in Sports Injury Management that led to a Master’s Degree. Dr. Slocumb is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners that includes completion of Part I, II, III, IV and Physiological Therapeutics. Dr. Slocumb uses low-force and non-force techniques she believes in gentle yet effective treatment when it comes to your health. Dr. Slocumb uses a wide variety of chiropractic techniques when adjusting her patients allowing her to tailor treatments to the specific needs of each individual patient. She is well trained in different full spine manipulative techniques such as Diversified, Activator, Thompson, Pediatric Adjusting, Toggle, Sacral Occipital Technique, and Extremity Adjusting.

We accept VISA and Mastercard Credit/Debit and personal checks as forms of payment. We also structure cash payments plans for the uninsured and those with economic hardship.

We do not accept GHI, HIP or NYSHIP.

Co-payments on insurance plans are due at time of service.
